Solacure - UV Grow Lights - UVA and UVB

Solacure Flower Power Lamps enable plants to produce UVR8, which is a protein produced in defence against UVB light. It is stimulated by UVB light at 288nm.
UVB light (within the range of 280-320nm), is normally received from the sun. When a plant detects UVB at 288nm, it produces the UVR8 protein. This protein acts as a chemical messenger which in turn, signals to the plant to secrete more oils and resins to help protect itself from the UVB rays.
Limitations have meant previous lamps produced little of no UVB, Solacure lamps are the sole exception as they use a type of glass designed specifically for transparency across the entire UVB spectrum.
This patented glass technology, combined with our unique blend of phosphors and high output, is what makes Solacure lamps the most effective producers of UVA and UVB light, and the only lamps capable of triggering the full UVR8 effect.
The Flower Power has three primary uses when it comes to growing.
One, it boosts essential compounds by 15%-30% or more. This depends on plant genetics and grower experience, etc. but the average gain is around 25%.
Two, because the Flower Power is a broadband UV bulb (ie: it covers everything from 280nm to 380nm instead of just having a couple of peaks) it is great for killing powdery mildew. It isn’t a replacement for good sanitation, but it will prevent PM from getting started.
Third, it suppresses insects very well, particularly soft-shelled insects. The UVA damages their DNA and kills them. We recommend using them starting at day one of flowering, but some will use them an hour or two a day about half way through the veg cycle.
How to use:
Lamps are used throughout the entire flowering cycle. It is recommended to start at roughly 2 hours (split over 2 x 1 hour periods) and build by 15 minutes every 2 days until you reach the maximum of 6 hours.
Keep an eye out for leaf burn, a small amount is acceptable but if damage is too great reduce light by 30 minutes to find the best exposure.
Each lamp consumes 32W of electricity and has a usable life of roughly 6 months. Lamps can still be used to kill PM after this point.
Fitting and Installation:
Installation is simple. Insert the lamps into the fixture making sure the logo on each lamp is pointing down, take care to clean the lamp of finger prints and dust.
2 fixtures are recommended for every 600-1000w of main lighting.
Lamps are best between 30 and 60cm from the cannopy of your plants.
Multiple fixtures can be linked with the "Daisy Chain" Link cable.
It is possible to run the lamps at double power, they need to be twice the distance from you plants and this will shorten the life of the lamps.
UV is damaging to skin and eyes. Wear protective eyewear and sun block as needed.

Just completed a full flower with these added to my 600w lighting setup. Yield was the same but the quality improvement was incredible. Much higher levels of what you want and it shows in the final result. I'm about to buy another pair.
