Ecolizer - Basics A+B

Basics from Ecolizer is a complex formula, designed to provide plants with all required base nutrients - Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphorus.

Plants can be quite demanding at certain times of the growth and flowering cycles, Ecolizer Basics A&B ensures your plants needs are covered at every stage.

Ecolizer Basics A&B is a combined of bio and mineral nutrients, built on a combination of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in perfect proportions. This stable basic nutrient contains raw materials of food grade quality.

Basics A&B is balanced in such a way that it doesn't contain any superfluous materials. In principle, it is not necessary to rinse and drain the substrate. However, Ecolizer advises you to do so every two weeks in order to keep your growing media healthy.

Available in 1L, 5L and 10L Sets of A+B. For example, the 1L set contains 1 x 1L Basics A and 1 x 1L Basics B.

Take care:

- For the growth schedule, tap water with an EC-value of 0.5 can be assumed. In some regions the EC-value may vary, however. With a lower EC-value, the schedule can be applied as such. Is the EC-value of the tap water higher (e.g. 0.8), raise the EC-value in the schedule pro rata (with 0.3).

- The higher the EC-value of the tap water, the more substances it contains that plants do not like (chlorine, sodium). In that case, rinse the substrate every 7 to 8 days.

- With growth on hydro, drip in the slates with a solution with an EC-value of 0.8-1.0 in the first week and adjust the pH-value to 5.8.

- By regularly measuring the pH-value of the drain water, a lot of useful information can be gathered on the condition of the substrate. With a healthy root system, the pH-value of the substrate may rise. With a bad root system, the pH-value of the substrate will fall. The reason for this is that the roots start giving off organic acids. Monitor this carefully!

- The use of Ecolizer Basics on heavily pre-fertilised soil is not recommended.
